As part of the ongoing cooperation with the HERO Research Team (link), a meeting of Research Team members with WIB experts was held on October 24-25, 2024 including representatives of European venture capitals and of Łukasiewicz – PORT acting as the WIB Programme Managing Entity. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the current results of scientific activities and related generated intellectual property under the HERO project in the context of global trends in technology development, therapeutic directions and applications using mRNA products in oncology.

The conclusions of the meeting set the perspective for further activities related to the protection and commercialisation of the project’s intellectual property, which is the responsibility and cost of the Managing Entity on behalf of the State Treasury.

In fact, the main objective of the Virtual Research Institute Programme is the effective commercialisation of the scientific activity results, funded by the Polish Science Fund.
